Rugby Africa developed a strategic mission of managing and developing all sport aspects/sections (respect of rugby values, management of rules application, educators and referees training and designations, players, coaches, referees and officials disciplinary).
Training management is laying foundations for a healthy growth of the game in Africa.
The main objective of the program is to empower our unions’ workforce with the 4 years Leading Rugby Program. This cycle is impacting all dimensions of a union through training of key stakeholders: presidents, CEOs, NTDs, Training Manager…
The program is made of four distinct modules:
- Leadership: Strategy, Governance, Human resources and system
- Rugby: Development, Training, performance, women
- Business: Finance, accounting, commercial and investment
- Marketing: strategy, communication, social network and sponsorship
In partnership with World Rugby, Rugby Africa delivers each year and throughout Africa, various specific workshops adapted to our unions’ specific needs. Our strategy is to train as many educators as possible to make our unions self-sustainable.
