With 2023 just beginning, Rugby Africa is already back in action. The season starts again with a U20 Barthés Trophy match. This repechage game will take place on 28 January 2023 at 4pm (local time) in Thiès – Senegal. The winner of this match will qualify for the Barthés Trophy which will take place from 20 April to 1 May between Zimbabwe, Namibia, Kenya, Madagascar, Tunisia, Uganda, Zambia and the winner of the repechage.

This match Senegal – Ivory Coast will be refereed by Aymen Jriji (Tunisia), assisted by Bineta Sene and Insa Thior.
