Peris Mukoko
I have loved rugby ever since I came across the sport in 2005. I started off as a player and went on to represent my school, club and country. Due to a limited number of games in a calendar year, I picked up the whistle and doubled up as referee until 2008 when I fully transitioned into officiating. My curiosity did not stop there, I furthered my knowledge of the game became the first female World Rugby accredited educator in Kenya and third in Africa. Recently, I was co-opted to the board of Kenya Rugby Union.
